Art 2 Art: Image to Words to Voice

Art Gallery of Grande Prairie (Montrose Cultural Centre)

1-4 p.m. each day

Join us for an innovative three-part workshop series as we explore creativity and the commonality between several artistic disciplines. The result will be a unique community art project in which visual, literary and performance artists interpret each other’s work.

Beginning with “Creativity” on April 4, we will work to overcome fears of failure or “not being good enough.”

On April 11, we will develop scripts and on April 25, we’ll make them even better.

Scripts will be performed by a local Readers’ Theatre group at the “Reveal” in late June.

Cost is $20 to attend one workshop or all three.  Artists or would-be  or want-to-be artists of all disciplines are welcome. No experience necessary.

This event is sponsored by the WGA and the Rosza Foundation in partnership with the Art Gallery of Grande Prairie.
